Operation Valentine is among the most awaited Telugu movies of 2024. The film is based on true events and boasts an ensemble cast. Varun Tej is leading the movie which will also mark his debut in Hindi cinema because it has been simultaneously shot in both Telugu and Hindi. While only one day is left in the film’s release, details about its digital debut are already out.
Shakti Pratap Singh Hada is the director of the film that narrates the story of the biggest airstrike in India’s history. The film follows the Balakot Airstrike of 2019 which was a retaliation of the Pulwama attack that happened on February 14 of the same year. In the attack, 40 Indian CRPF personnel were killed.
Manushi Chhillar is the leading lady of the film playing the role of a radar controller. On the other hand, Navdeep, Ruhani Sharma, and Mir Sarwar are portraying supporting characters.
Did Amazon Prime Video bag Varun Tej’s new movie’s OTT rights?
According to a report by 123telugu.com, the details about Operation Valentine’s OTT release are already out. Allegedly, Amazon Prime Video has bagged the streaming rights of the movie. Moreover, similar to the pattern that most South movies follow, the Varun Tej starrer will also be reportedly available to stream after four weeks of its release. However, the film’s Hindi version will make its digital debut after eight weeks.
The report also confirmed that the film’s Malayalam, Tamil, and Kannada versions will also be available on the platform. An official announcement confirming the movie’s OTT release is awaited.
Operation Valentine is widely being compared to Hrithik Roshan’s recently released aerial action film Fighter. Despite having the same base story, its makers are certain that they are focusing on a different angle. Watching the movie’s box office collection would be very interesting.
Operation Valentine is hitting the theaters on March 1, 2024.
