OpenTable names 6 Ohio restaurants on its Top 100 list. And they're all in Cincinnati

A new report named six Ohio restaurants as part of the top 100 eateries in the country, and all of them are in Cincinnati.

OpenTable, an online restaurant reservation platform, released its annual Top 100 Restaurants list last month, breaking down the top-tier dining spots by state. The list was made using more than 12 million verified diner reviews to track metrics like the percentage of reservations made in advance and five-star reviews.

Here are the Queen City restaurants representing Ohio on that list.

Local legend chef David Falk opened Boca, an upscale restaurant featuring Italian and French dishes, in 2001 in Northside. He was 26, an Italian food nut and ready to make a mark in Cincinnati.

Over the years, Boca moved from Northside to Oakley and then to its current location at 114 E. Sixth St., Downtown. In addition to its OpenTable honors, the eatery has been recognized as one of the top French restaurants in the U.S. by Travel + Leisure magazine.

The restaurant offers full dinner and dessert menus as well as extensive cocktail and wine options. Hours are Monday through Saturday, 5 to 10 p.m. and Sundays from 4 to 9 p.m. There is also a special holiday lunch menu from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday, Dec. 18, through Friday, Dec. 22.
