He was the good guy with the gorgeous eyes who was engaged for a time to Jackelina "Jackie" Bonds.

Marshall became a fan-favorite on the show, even though his relationship with Jackie didn't work out. But he just got on a lot of people's bad sides after past problematic tweets from him resurfaced.

I'm not gonna include them here, but they date back to 2011 and show Marshall making demeaning comments about Black women.

Amid the backlash, Marshall posted a note on Twitter acknowledging and apologizing for his past remarks.

“I’m seeing a lot of my old tweets resurface from years ago," he wrote. "This happens to pretty much everyone who goes into the public eye."

“Let me be clear: Like I said to someone earlier…things change. I was a sad teenager with a lot of issues when I tweeted a lot of that," Marshall, 27, continued.

He said that he's "grown" since then and no longer feels or thinks the way he did when he shared those tweets. But he also opted not to delete them to show "proof" that he's changed.

"I even had a chance to go back and erase it. I elected not to," he continued. "It’s my progression as an individual. As a human. Those old tweets are just my proof that I have evolved. I thank God for the opportunity to be damaged, seek clarity and forgiveness, and develop into a better person."
