Online Gamer Overcomes Adversity to Win on ‘Kicking & Screaming’

On Kicking and Screaming, it was down to the final three teams, and Ben and Juliana were quickly eliminated in the first challenge. Juliana was bummed, Ben cheered her up, saying, “Who needs a quarter of a million anyways?”

This left the yellow team and the purple team. And win or lose, online gamer Natalie said she’d grown a lot and that it had been nice to disconnect from her online world and remember to connect with people in real life.

Brady and Claire, the yellow team, had been the season favorites, and Terry and Natalie, purple team, felt like the underdogs as they took on the final obstacle course. The purple team got off to a slight lead and it was neck and neck at the final obstacle in which the novices had to make fire using a knife and flint. Though Claire had been furiously practicing, it was Natalie who got the kindling to light and take the win.
