Whoheem - “Lets Link”
“Lets Link” seems inspired by San Bernardino, California rapper Whoheem’s experiences hitting on girls in their Instagram DMs and it sounds as if it was written at his local mall’s food court. “I like youuuu, I don’t give a fuck about your boyfriend/Come on let’s link,” he whines on the irresistibly catchy hook, as if rejection will make him throw a tantrum on the floor like Tyrese in the “How You Gonna Act Like That” video. Whoheem glides over a fingersnap heavy instrumental that should make the floor cave in at house parties from the Inland Empire to the Bay. If he gets his wish, some relationships may crumble as well.
