Gwap Lvrd D - “Glizzy [Lvrd’s Revenge]”
Gwap Lvrd D is a Dallas-based rapper who straddles the worlds of trap and cloud rap. “Glizzy [Lvrd’s Revenge]” is a surreal bass rattler produced by YDNA. Over a haunting production of clanging bells and stuttered snare, Gwap Lvrd D laments his life and challenges his enemies. He switches from menacing to contemplative in the course of a few lines: “Niggas say they feel me, but lil nigga I don’t think you do/Sometimes I want to die but I’m reminded I got shit to do.” Gwap Lvrd D’s flow leisurely curls around the beat, and he uses his words to slowly but surely tell his tale of dejection.
