One Royal Insider Says This Is Part of the Reason Kate Middleton Is an ‘Asset to the Royal Family'

From what we’ve seen over the years, it takes quite a lot of personal resolve and public support to take on a senior role as a member of the royal family. Yet, time and again, Kate Middleton has proven herself capable of meeting each and every responsibility. We can’t help but think it’s part of the reason why she’s become such a valuable member fo the British royal family, and one royal author feels there’s even more to it when it comes to the Princess of Wales’ capabilities.

“It is why a lot of people who have worked with her think she is such an asset to the royal family, because she has this amazing professionalism,” royal author Valentine Low shared with People. Indeed, Princess Kate has always appeared polished and ready for any task set for her by the British monarchy. She’s even taken on her own projects, including the recent Christmas concert at Westminster Abbey — which she hosted for the third year in a row.

“She has this public image of being nice and smiley and, dare I say, innocuous,” Low continued. “But she is actually strong-minded, strong-willed and prepared to fight for what she wants and what she thinks is right.” Since marrying Prince William in 2011, Kate has completely grown into her role, previously as the Duchess of Cambridge and now as the Princess of Wales.

More than a decade later, Kate’s place in the royal family has gained importance. As the future Queen of England, her duties and position will surely change, it’s all but guaranteed. But based on this insight, Kate seems determined to meet forthcoming challenges, and make whatever role she takes on her own.
