The Seraphims may have recently been introduced in One Piece, but their narrative importance can not be undermined. Towards the end of the Wano arc, the World Government’s decision to dissolve the Shichibukai system shocked everyone. The abolishment of the warlord system hinted that the series was entering its final saga.

The World Government created the Shichibukai system to balance the power held by the four emperors. At the Reverie, the World Government introduced the Seraphims, an elite group of Pacifista’s. The Seraphim can only accept direct orders from the Five Elders, Vegapunk, and Sentomaru. They are artificially created clones of the Shichibukai, mixed with King’s Lunarian Lineage factor and augmented with the Devil Fruit power-replicating Green Blood.

So far, Eiichiro Oda has revealed only four Seraphim—S-Hawk, S-Snake, S-Bear, and S-Shark—within the One Piece story. Among the ones introduced, S-Hawk exhibits the greatest power.

Like the other Seraphims, he was created by Doctor Vegapunk, who refers to them as “The Strongest Form of Humanity.” Already among the Shichibukai, Dracule Mihawk was regarded as the strongest. Thus, a clone based on him would be as strong.

The Seraphims were given the Devil Fruit powers of their respective Shichibukai, but since Mihawk hasn’t consumed any Devil Fruit, Vegapunk improvised, giving him the Supa Supa no Mi. It is a copy of Daz Bonez’s Devil Fruit, which allows him to turn any part of his body into a blade. He is shown using this in his clash against Kaku and Zoro.

S-Hawk is a sword prodigy with moves that could even rival Mihawk himself. Despite his numerous appearances, S-Hawk has yet to display any personality other than obedience to his handlers. However, Roronoa Zoro claims that S-Hawk acts more human than Mihawk.

Despite his childlike appearance, he has been proven to be one of the strongest characters in One Piece. S-Hawk was a part of the group that raided Amazon Lily with S-Snake to capture Boa Hancock. There, he clashed with the Blackbeard Pirates. S-Hawk was also strong enough to fight with Blackbeard, putting the emperor under pressure with his fierce attacks. His attack forced Blackbeard to use Busoshoku Haki to defend himself.

On Egghead Island, he wasted no time in making his presence felt by fighting some of the strongest people. Notably, S-Hawk is strong enough to fight with Roronoa Zoro, who defeated another Lunarian, King. He impressed the Straw Hat, who compared his abilities to Mihawk’s. Moreover, S-Hawk was strong enough to survive a combined attack from Zoro and Kaku, showcasing the resilience of his Lunarian Bloodline.

How strong can S-Hawk get?

S-Hawk has already proven himself as one of the strongest characters in the series. On the Egghead Island arc, CP0 said, “The Seraphims are powerful, but they are still kids.” It showcases the unlimited potential of the Seraphim unit by telling fans that they will grow and develop even more with time. That is a terrifying prospect because a Seraphim as strong as S-Hawk can already fight with Blackbeard and Zoro as a kid. If given room to grow, he would be almost unmatched.
