The one and only color Meghan Markle has worn for royal events

Meghan Markle continues to surprise people in her role as a soon-to-be royal but when it comes to her wardrobe, she’s pretty predictable: She’s obsessed with the color green. Over the weekend, to accompany Harry to the Invictus Games Reception in London, Markle wore a green, floral Self-Portrait dress for $510 which she paired with a black blazer and pumps. Markle could have easily chosen purple, the unofficial shade of royalty, as her signature hue. However, according to royal expert Rob Shuter, green is a strategic move from the royal-in-training. “Second to blue, green is the most popular shade for women in Britain." Green is also the color of the British suffrage movement and given Markle’s history of fighting for women’s rights, wearing the color could be a statement.
