In One Ear: Blind Pilot returns

Good news from indie band Blind Pilot: “We are very excited to say we are playing some more shows this summer, leading up to the release of our new album *wink, wink*.” Their last album, “And Then Like Lions,” was released in 2016.

“We will be playing some new songs, as well as some songs from the first three albums. These shows are at some of our favorite intimate rooms around the country — West Coast, East Coast and Midwest. We can’t wait to see you again!”

Lead singer, Israel Nebeker (second from right), who is from Gearhart and attended Seaside High School, is the son of Sarah Nebeker, a former Clatsop County commissioner, and the late artist Royal Nebeker.

Tickets are on sale now for the June through August tour, but the bad news is there are no dates on the North Coast, although there are stops in Medford and Eugene. Nostalgic for their music? There’s plenty to listen to on their YouTube channel, bit.ly/blindpilot.

However, one can always hope they will make another Liberty Theatre appearance. Fingers crossed. (Photo: BlindPilot.com)
