Chris Pratt's body transformation from his breakout role as Andy Dwyer on Parks and Recreation to Star-Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy is a well-known impressive feat. In a new Men's Health video, Pratt revealed another fun fact about his famous body transformation, which involved Chris Hemsworth's personal chef.

When he first joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe and began filming Avengers: Infinity War, Pratt noticed other actors had personal chefs. And he wanted in on his co-stars' diet plans: specifically, Chris Hemsworth's. The actor is known for his hulking physique (no pun intended). In fact, Men's Health learned last year Hemsworth can sometimes consume around 5,000 calories a day to get to results he needs to play Thor.

Apparently, Chris Hemsworth's chef cooked Pratt kangaroo. Seriously. "After two days, look, my arms are half the size of his," Pratt jokes in the video.

Looking back on his preparation for the role of Star-Lord, Pratt says that transformation was the hardest (in comparison to say, prepping for his new role as a Navy SEAL) because he not only had to put on muscle, but also lose weight. And he not only had to convince people he could play the part of a chiseled superhero, but that he could play more than a sitcom character.

As the cover star for Men's Health Magazine's July/August issue, Pratt says he's doing best to enjoy his final moments with the character, whose last on-screen appearance will likely be in the yet to be released Guardians of the Galaxy 3.

“Like, This is going away. I want to take it in," Pratt says. "You can’t take it in any harder
than just being present to it. So I’m being present."

Pratt stars in a new Amazon Prime television show The Terminal List, and is set to reprise his role as Star-Lord in the upcoming Marvel movie Thor: Love and Thunder.
