‘Once Upon a Time’ Sneak Peek: Rumplestiltskin Has a New Look
Extreme makeover, Once Upon a Time edition!
Rumplestiltskin (Robert Carlyle) is sporting a whole new look in this week’s new episode of Once Upon a Time. In this exclusive clip, the Dark One gets a spiffy haircut — and the Evil Queen (Lana Parrilla) is impressed.
“Wow! Look who cleans up nice,” she purrs. “I like it — highlights your eyes.”
(Fun fact: Carlyle got that haircut for his role in Trainspotting 2, the sequel to the 1996 cult fave film. The creators of OUAT decided to incorporate it into the show’s storyline.)

Well, Rumple may have a new look, but as Mr. Hyde (Sam Witwer) warns, “You can change the outside, but what’s inside is still there.” Yes, not all that glitters is Mr. Gold. And when Hyde demands a certain item from the shop, Rumple demonstrates that he is still very much the Dark One.
Except there’s one problem: Seems that Hyde is impervious to his magic!
