‘Once Upon a Time’ Sneak Peek: David Really Needs a Nap
Mirror, mirror, on the wall — who’s the worst parent of them all on Once Upon a Time?
The fairy tale drama has no shortage of mommy and daddy issues (Rumpelstiltskin alone could be the subject of a Ph.D. dissertation). But in this exclusive sneak peek from Sunday’s new episode, it’s David, aka Prince Charming (Josh Dallas), who is wrestling with his parental demons.

David has a lot on his plate. He inadvertently wished for his daughter Emma’s (Jennifer Morrison) killer to appear in Storybrooke. His wife, Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin), is under a sleeping curse. And all his guilt and worry is making him have visions … of his own father. Maybe he just needs a bit of shuteye, suggests Captain Hook (Colin O’Donoghue).
“If I wanted advice, I doubt I’d take it from a pirate!” David snaps. Maybe yelling at a friend who’s trying to help is exactly the sign you need to get some sleep, Charming. If only they could wake up Snow to give him a (loving) lecture.
