‘Worst Cooks in America’ Get Schooled by Children

On Sunday’s Worst Cooks in America, the contestants were confronted by younger judges that were every bit as harsh as their older counterparts. Host Rachael Ray stepped aside to make way for Lexi, a former contestant on Food Network Star Kids, while Anne Burrell gave the reigns to her niece Isabella.

Though the contestants were happy to see their harsh judges step aside, they weren’t exactly excited to see how accomplished these young chefs were. One contestant said, “Nothing feels worse than seeing a child that’s better at cooking than you.”

The worst cooks were challenged to make a pizza, and mayhem ensued. The short-stack chefs pointed out that the contestants weren’t using food processors properly, dodged a contestant carelessly wielding a chef’s knife, and had to intervene when a pan caught fire.

Luckily, one contestant was able to roll out a pizza that met the young chefs’ standards of looking like it came from a restaurant.

Worst Cooks in America airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on Food Network.
