Olympic Golfer Bubba Watson Debuts Jetpack Golf Cart on ‘Today’

On the Today Show, professional golfer and two-time Masters champion Bubba Watson unveiled the coolest golf cart in the world. It wasn’t long ago that Watson, working with Oakley, created a hovercraft golf cart. This time around, Watson and Oakley teamed up to make the jetpack golf cart, otherwise known as the BW-Air.

The BW-Air can fly up to 3,000 feet high and can go up to 50 mph, but lazy golfers will have to wait in line before they can get their hands on one. The BW-Air is already being produced in New Zealand, but only for first responders and military personnel for now.

Watson has a lot to look forward to in addition to getting the word out about the golf cart of the future. He will be representing the United States in Rio as the highest-ranked golfer in the Olympics.

Of the Olympics, Watson said, “Just the honor to represent our country in the right way is a thrill of a lifetime.”
