Olivia Rodrigo Reunites With HSMTMTS Costars at Sold-Out MSG Show — See Photos

Olivia Rodrigo might have exited High School Musical: The Musical: The Series before the show's final season but it looks like she'll always be a fellow wildcat to her former castmates, who made sure to show up and support her during one of her sold-out Madison Square Garden concerts.

As part of her ongoing GUTS world tour, Rodrigo played not one, not two, not three, but four sold-out shows in New York City's iconic venue, a special feat for any artist, let alone someone who's only a few years into her career.

To celebrate the momentous occasion, some of Rodrigo's former HSMTMTS castmates (namely Joe Serafini, Frankie Rodriguez, Larry Saperstein, and Julia Lester) stopped by NYC to support her during the fourth and final night of her MSG run.

Fans first spotted the four actors leaving their seats as Rodrigo wrapped up the concert, and the clip quickly went viral across socials. Where were they going? To meet Rodrigo backstage, duh! After the concert, Saperstein made sure to commemorate the occasion on Instagram. "danced our GUTS off!! 💜" he captioned his post, where the five HSM alums are seen posing together backstage.

Aside from the picture itself, the group also had a blast on the comment section of Saperstein's post. "my voice is gone 😌" Lester, implying she had the time of her life watching the show.

This isn't the first time Lester and Saperstein have supported Rodrigo while on tour; they also attended a stop of her SOUR tour in 2022 and, of course, immortalized in on the 'gram. They are also not the only HSMTMTS stars who have attended a GUTS concert either, as Sofia Wylie was also seen in the crowd during Rodrigo's Phoenix show, repping her own GUTS shirt no less. We love to see it!
