Olivia Rodrigo Looks to Support 'Women's Issues' and 'Reproductive Healthcare' with New Fund 4 Good (Exclusive)

"I think it's going to be a very fulfilling and hopefully productive experience," Rodrigo, who's playing a show with Amex to benefit the charity, tells PEOPLE

Before dropping her new album Guts, Olivia Rodrigo felt nervous about how the music would be received. A month later, the record’s topped charts in 14 countries, and listeners clearly haven’t soured on its songs.

"I actually feel like I’ve had the most happy, calm post-release month," the 20-year-old singer-songwriter tells PEOPLE. "It’s been really cathartic, and I feel like I can actually enjoy the album for the first time."

Beyond enjoying the angsty, rock-laced 12-track set, Rodrigo’s audience is already hungry for more from the "Vampire" musician — and they know it’s out there. After pre-ordering vinyl copies of Guts months ago, fans were surprised upon unboxing to learn each of the four different colored records sold on her website each feature an exclusive bonus track: "Obsessed," "Scared of My Guitar," "Stranger" or "Girl I’ve Always Been."

Ever since then, they’ve wondered when the songs will hit streaming services. "I’m so happy that people like those songs," says Rodrigo. "I can’t show you all my cards, but I really do like a lot of those songs, and I feel like they’re not going to live on vinyl forever.”

With Guts out in the world, the "Vampire" singer’s schedule has been jam-packed with performances and promotional appearances, and she’s not slowing down anytime soon. Last month, she announced the Guts World Tour, and tickets for all 77 dates have already sold out. 

Prior to hitting the road, however, she’ll take the stage for an intimate show at The Theatre at Ace Hotel DTLA in Los Angeles on Oct. 9. Billed as American Express Presents: An Evening with Olivia Rodrigo, the concert — part of Amex’s third annual Member Week — will bring fans into the world of Guts with an immersive experience featuring photo booths, lattes from Midori Matcha and a special acoustic performance.

"I’m really excited to play these songs that I’ve never played before. It’s going to be a very special night," says Rodrigo, who will sing alongside her frequent collaborator Dan Nigro at the event. "We’re going to talk about their creation, what inspired us and all the fun stories that we collected while making this album."

Tickets for the show become available to American Express cardholders on Sunday at 10 a.m. PT, and all proceeds will be donated to Rodrigo’s newly launched nonprofit, Fund 4 Good. Named as a cheeky nod to her hit single "Good 4 U," the charity aims to support causes close to the Grammy winner’s heart.

"Its initiative is to raise awareness for certain groups that are championing women's issues in America and all of the other territories I'm going to. I'm very excited, and I think it's going to be a very fulfilling and hopefully productive experience," explains Rodrigo. "Lots of the money is going to abortion funds to help provide some resources to people who are in need of reproductive healthcare."

Fund 4 Good will also receive a portion of proceeds from each ticket sold for the Guts World Tour, which kicks off in February.
