Olivia Rodrigo Is Little Miss ‘Obsessed’ in New Music Video Ahead of ‘Guts’ Deluxe: Watch

If there was a contest for girls obsessed with their exes, Olivia Rodrigo would be a shoo-in for the crown. The 21-year-old pop star unveiled the music video for her new single “Obsessed” Thursday night (March 21) — just hours ahead of her Guts deluxe release — featuring the singer as the black sheep in a herd of picture-perfect pageant queens.

In the visual, Rodrigo rocks a black dress, jagged bangs and deep red lipstick, sticking out in a group of debutantes sporting delicate white gowns. While she wears a sash that reads “Miss Right Now,” the other girls boast the titles “Miss Thought She Was the One,” “Miss Also Thought She Was the One,” “Miss 2 Summers Ago” and more.

“Obsessed” appears on Rodrigo’s set of Guts deluxe tracks, which arrived at midnight Friday (March 22), as does three other “secret” tracks that appeared on a variety of the musician’s vinyl releases — “Scared of My Guitar,” “Stranger” and “Girl I’ve Always Been.” The expanded version also features a new song, “So American,” recorded after Rodrigo’s Billboard 200-topping sophomore album dropped in September last year.

The Grammy winner first confirmed that the Guts deluxe edition was coming at her Chicago Guts World Tour show, where she held up a piece of paper bearing the news during “Get Him Back!” Her backup dancers also held up signs displaying the titles on the extended tracklist.
