There are few people who can make the drive to school one of the best days ever, and Olivia Rodrigo is one of them.

On Tuesday’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, the host and his wife Molly surprised their 9-year-old daughter Jane and 6-year-old son Billy on the way to school. After asking if they were excited to “learn things in school today,” Jane replied, “Not really… I don’t like school.”

Looking to turn the day around, Jimmy suddenly announced, “There a hitchhiker up here” as he pulled up to Rodrigo herself. “Oh my God, Billy. That’s Olivia Rodrigo,” Jane exclaimed, covering her face as the Guts superstar herself climbed into the backseat. Once Kimmel and Molly’s kids got over the initial shock that one of the world’s biggest pop stars ditched work to hang out, they sang along to Jane’s favorite song, “ballad of a homeschooled girl,” and Billy’s, “get him back!” Notably, Billy declared that if he ever did get him back for Olivia, he would “punch him in the penis.”

The video wrapped with Rodrigo (jokingly) admitting, “I don’t have a driver’s license,” before quipping, “This isn’t Carpool Karaoke?”

In September, Rodrigo got to meet another one of her biggest fans, also named Olivia, on the YouTube series Recess Therapy. In the episode, Olivia told Rodrigo that Guts was “one of the best albums you’ve come out with” and later said, “You’re one of the coolest artists I’ve ever seen. And you were like the first one — like, I know there were other ones, but they were really, really childish and kiddie. But then I saw you, and I was like, this is will be the best artist in the world and I bet when I’m older I’ll meet her.”
