'Old Town Road' is now tied for the biggest hit in Billboard history

The song holds off Billie Eilish and Justin Beieber to log a record-tying 16th week at No. 1.

Can't nobody tell Lil Nas X he doesn't have one of the biggest hits in Billboard history.

"Old Town Road" tops Billboard's Hot 100 chart for a record-tying 16th consecutive week, the third song to reach that mark in six decades. It shares the record with 2017 smash "Despacito" and 1995 Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men hit “One Sweet Day."

Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus' western rap held off a contested bid by left-of-pop breakout star Billie Eilish and her "Bad Guy" remix, featuring Justin Bieber. "Bad Guy" sits at No. 2 on the Hot 100 for a sixth consecutive week, Billboard reports.

The budding stars went to battle in the days leading up to Monday's chart report, with Lil Nas X enlisting 'Yodeling Kid' Mason Ramsey and rapper Young Thug for an "Old Town Road" remix that dropped hours after Eilish unveiled her Bieber collaboration.

Billboard combines data from original and remix entries of the same track; Lil Nas X has released four total "Old Town Road" entries: The original, a remix featuring Cyrus, a remix featuring electronic star Diplo and the latest, four-part collaboration with Ramsey and Young Thug.

"Old Town Road" tops the Digital Songs Sales chart for a 12th week, Billboard reports, moving an estimated 45,000 units; the song spends a 16th week atop the Streaming Song chart.

If "Old Town Road" holds for a 17th week, it'll stand alone as the longest-running No. 1 in Billboard Hot 100 history.
