Steel City Oktoberfest at Pueblo Union Depot

132 W. B St. | 5 p.m.-midnight | After a five-year hiatus, the Pueblo German American Club is hosting its traditional Oktoberfest event with authentic German bier and food. The 28th annual event also will include a keg throw, live music, a stein relay race, stein-hoisting, best dirndl and a kid's garten. Cost is $5 per person, while children 6 and younger are free.

Kip Moore Concert at Pueblo Memorial Hall

1 City Hall Place | Doors open 7 p.m., show at 8 p.m. | The Country music singer and songwriter will perform tunes from his newest album, "Damn Love." Cost ranges from $40-$56 and tickets are on sale at etix.com.

Food Market & Park-it Event on I-25

9048 S. Interstate 25 | 7 a.m.-7 p.m. | The event showcases local goodies from farmers, cottage bakers, food trucks and food related vendors.

Customer Appreciation Pueblo Farmers Market at Pueblo Mall

3429 Dillon Drive JCPenny parking lot | 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. | The final farmer's market for the Pueblo Mall location will feature collaborative murals by local artist Ryan Yanke, cornhole games, face painting, locally grown fresh produce, handmade goods, cottage foods and specialty items.

Oktoberfest fundraiser at Eagles Lodge

1615 S. Prairie Ave. | 7:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m. | The fundraiser will help make Christmas special for needy children. Events include a car show, cornhole tournament and more.

Bus Trip to Cripple Creek departing from North Side Kmart

3415 N. Elizabeth | 8:30 a.m. | The Armijo Family Reunion Committee will sponsor the Cripple Creek fundraiser bus trip. The bus will return from Cripple Creek at 4 p.m. There will be a 50/50 raffle, bingo, drinks, snacks and small prize giveaways. Cost is $35 per person. "Birds of the Arkansas River" at Rawlings Library

100 E. Abriendo Ave., Friends of the Library meeting room | 11 a.m. | The Arkansas Valley Audobon Society will present "Birds of the Arkansas River Corridor," an educational program by Pueblo bird expert Mark Yaeger. All ages are welcome.

Brunch with Brian at Memorial Recreation Center

230 E. George Drive | 11 a.m.-1 p.m. | Pueblo West Metro Board Director Brian Axworthy will chat with Pueblo West residents about topics of interest. Omelets will be served.

Train rides at Pueblo Railway Museum

200 W. B St. | 11 a.m.-3 p.m. | The 20-minute train rides cost $15 to ride in the red, white and blue "Patriot" engine or $10 to ride in one of three cabooses. Children under 3 ride free. The museum accepts cash or check only.

Film Screening with Juan Espinosa at Rawlings Public Library

100 E. Abriendo Ave. , fourth floor | 2-3:30 p.m. | Espinosa hosts the screening of "Los Seis de Boulder, The Boulder Six," in honor of Latinx Book Festival and Hispanic Heritage month. The film focuses on the Boulder Six, who were Chicano student activists killed by two car bombs. Learn who they were and what they were working toward.

All Pueblo Sings at Pueblo Divine Science Church

Delta Sonics Concert at El Nopal’s Blue Cactus Room

1435 E. Evans Ave. | Doors open 5 p.m., show at 7 p.m. | The Colorado blues band is making its first-ever public performance in Pueblo. Participants can enjoy traditional Pueblo food in the speakeasy-style supper club in Bessemer while listening to swing, Delta, "N'awlins" rhythm and blues and rock n' roll music. Breakfast Fundraiser at Our Lady of the Meadows

23 Starling Drive, church basement | 8:30-10:30 a.m. | The Knights of Columbus will serve pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, green chile, coffee and orange juice. Cost is $7.

Pig Roast at VFW Post 5812 Pueblo West

127 E. Spaulding Ave. | 2 p.m. | Cost is $10 per person for whole hog, beef brisket, beer can chicken, barbecue ribs and sides. All proceeds benefit The Lahaina, Maui fire victims.

Outdoor concert and ice cream social at the Rosemount Museum

419 W. 14th St. | 5-7 p.m. | The "Rosemount Jazz Quartet by Camarada 320" will perform ragtime early jazz and classical pieces on the museum grounds. Ice cream will be served in the front of the carriage house starting at 5 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets or law chairs.

Thursday, Sept. 21

Travis Tritt and Cody Cozz at Pueblo Memorial Hall

1 City Hall Place | Doors open at 6 p.m., show at 7 p.m. | Pueblo's own country music phenom Cody Cozz will open the show for country music legend Travis Tritt. Tritt will perform some of his greatest hits and songs off his most recent album, "Set in Stone." Tritt has won two Grammys and four Country Music Association awards among many other accolades. Friday, Sept. 22

Chile & Frijole Fest in downtown Pueblo

Union Avenue | 3 p.m.-midnight Friday, Sept. 22, with winners of the Chili and Salsa Showdown announced at 6 p.m. at the Union and D Street stage | Festival continues from 10 a.m.-midnight Sept. 23, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sept. 24 | The 29th annual event will feature entertainment tents, 200 street vendors, chile roasting, an 11 a.m. Sunday chihuahua and friends parade and a 4 p.m. Sunday jalapeno eating contest. Cost is $5 in advance at pueblochilefestival.com or $6 at the gate. Military with valid ID and children 12 and younger are admitted free.

Hot air balloons at Chile & Frijoles Fest

Launches are set for 6:45 a.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the fields at 24th and High St. just east of the Langoni soccer fields | Balloon glows are set for 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday on the Riverwalk across from Brues Alehouse | 15 balloons, including the giant chie ristra, are expected to participate. Food trucks will be available and balloon fest T-shirts will also be available for sale. All Balloon events are free and open to the public.

Pueblo Farmer's Market at Mineral Palace Park

1600 N. Santa Fe Ave. | 7 a.m.-noon through Oct. 13 | Locally grown fresh produce, handmade goods, cottage foods and specialty items. The market accepts and encourages payments through SNAP/EBT cards, Double Up Food Bucks, the WICFarmers Market Nutrition Program and Centura's Fresh to Flourish produce prescription program.

Comedian Rob Schneider at Pueblo Memorial Hall

1 City Hall Place | Doors open at 6 p.m., show at 7 p.m. | "Rob Schneider: The Narcissist Confessions" showcases the comedic talents and outrageous humor of the comedian who brought unforgettable characters to "Saturday Night Live," then went on to star in movies like “Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo,” and “The Hot Chick." Schneider candidly explores the quirks and nuances of the human ego, diving deep into the world of narcissism with a hilarious twist. Deadline to sign up for Bike the Bessemer

1144 S. Aspen Road | Sept. 23 is the deadline to sign up for the 12-mile bike ride which will run from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Sept. 30 | The educational ride is sponsored by Palmer Land Conservancy to showcase Pueblo County’s premier agricultural lands and water resources. The ride includes stops at local farms and farm stands. After the ride, enjoy a beer or cold beverage, and a delicious farm-to-table lunch featuring local ingredients and catered by Richard Warner, the founder of Bingo Burger. Cost is $50 per person. Wednesday, Sept. 27

The FABBA Show at Pueblo Memorial Hall

1 City Hall Place | 7:30 p.m. | The FABBA Show is an authentic, magical tribute to the band ABBA featuring favorites like “Mamma Mia”, “Waterloo,” “Fernando,” “SOS,” “Take A Chance On Me,” “Dancing Queen,” “Knowing Me Knowing You,” and many more. The show will feature the Pueblo County High School String Quartet, including Trenton Knox, Nicole Wang, Brynn Hambric and Aliya Bartholomew performing on stage with the band during the songs "Honey Honey" and "Slipping Through My Fingers."

“There’s always a special feeling for these shows — people dress up in their best jumpsuits, white go-go boots and dance and sing with us,” said Marie-Claire Follett, who plays ABBA's Frida Lyngstad in the show. Music, Malt & Mead at the Abriendo Inn
