Three things to know

➤ The Cowgirls’ starting lineup in coach Jacie Hoyt's debut is expected to include four players from Oklahoma high schools. Two of them — guard Lexy Keys of Sequoyah Tahlequah and Muldrow’s Taylen Collins — are holdovers from the previous OSU roster. The other two — Owasso’s Terryn Milton and Claire Chastain of Dale High School — transferred into the program after Hoyt was hired.

➤ OSU got a balanced scoring effort in its 91-51 win over Division II Northeastern Oklahoma last week. Seven players had at least nine points, led by super-senior center Kassidy De Lapp with 16 points and nine rebounds. OSU was 10-of-21 from 3-point range.

➤ UT Rio Grande Valley brings a pair of Oklahoma natives to their home state for the game. Bartlesville product Jená Williams was a second-team All-State selection on The Oklahoman’s 2019 team and began her college career at Nevada. Jenks product Jariah Sango, a 6-foot-4 forward, transferred from Clarendon College.
