OJ Da Juiceman Arrested On Gun And Drug Charges Following High-Speed Chase

OJ Da Juiceman has been arrested on firearms and drug charges after the rapper allegedly took police on a high-speed chase.
According to TMZ, on March 4, the Atlanta native, born Otis Williams Jr., was driving a vehicle when he was ordered to pull over by police, who claim that he was traveling above the legal speed limit. However, Williams ignored the officers’ commands, instead attempting to elude them in his vehicle, resulting in a hot pursuit of the hitmaker.
After a brief chase, Williams eventually obeyed the officers’ order, pulling over his vehicle. Upon a search of the vehicle, Coweta County sheriffs discovered cocaine and a 9mm handgun inside of the car, leading the rapper to be taken into custody.
Williams was charged with cocaine trafficking, possession with the intent to distribute, possession of a firearm, obstruction of justice, evidence tampering and eluding police. He is being held without bond, with his next court date scheduled for December 2024.
The rapper’s latest run-in with the law comes nearly two years after he was arrested in Hardin County, Kentucky on similar charges. In that incident, which occurred in May 2022, Williams was detained and charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was released from custody after posting bond, yet, it remains unclear if those charges have been resolved. Williams is best known for the hit singles “Make tha Trap Say Aye” featuring Gucci Mane and “Supaman High” featuring R. Kelly.
In 2009, he released his debut album The Otha Side of the Trap, with his sophomore and most recent album, The Otis Williams Jr. Story, arriving in 2014.
