Ohio native John Legend to appear with Cleveland Orchestra Aug. 8 at Blossom

Multi-platinum, 12-time Grammy Award winner John Legend will join the lineup for the Blossom Music Festival this summer in Cuyahoga Falls.

The pop and R&B artist will perform "An Evening with John Legend — A Night of Songs with the Cleveland Orchestra" at 7 p.m. Aug. 8 at Blossom Music Center. It will be his Cleveland Orchestra debut.

His concert will feature renditions of his greatest hits, including "All of Me," "Ordinary People," "Tonight" and songs from his latest album, LEGEND. Anthony Parnther will conduct.

Legend will also share stories from his life and career.

The artist is an EGOT-winning musician who has won two Emmys, 12 Grammys, an Oscar and a Tony Award. Born John Roger Stephens, Legend is a native of Springfield, Ohio, where he played piano and sang in his church choir as a child. He's now a principal in Get Lifted Film Co., founder of personal care line Loved01 and founder of social impact organization Free America.

How to get John Legend tickets for his Blossom Music Center show

Tickets will go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday, with a limit of four tickets per order.

Legend's concert with the Cleveland Orchestra is not included in the Blossom Festival lawn ticket books or the Under 18 Free program. Lawn ticket book holders may use the cash value of a lawn voucher toward the purchase of a ticket.

Live Nation safety rules will be in effect for the Aug. 8 show, which means concertgoers will not be able to bring personal lawn chairs, picnic baskets or alcohol into Blossom Music Center. See clevelandorchestra.com for a list of items that are permitted and not permitted.
