Offset Joins FaZe Clan to Help Bridge Gaming & Entertainment

Pro gaming organization FaZe Clan is about to get some serious swag, because Offset is joining up.

According to a release from FaZe, Offset is the newest investor to join the team, and will "build a mutually beneficial partnership to continue to propel FaZe Clan’s dominance and accelerate the intersection of esports and entertainment in general."

The Blast also obtained a photo of Offset sporting an official FaZe Clan hoodie.

The Migos rapper was also given a new handle, FaZe Offset, and said, "I love gaming and esports is the future."

He added, "These two facts make it only right that I be a part of the biggest esports organization with some of the best players in the world."

The financial terms of Offset's deal with FaZe are not being disclosed, but one can only guess it will be lucrative for both sides.

FaZe Clan CEO, Lee Trink, said in a statement, "Offset represents a new generation of cultural leaders who understand that shift."

He continues, "FaZe Clan is redefining what it means to be an iconic entertainment brand and working with a visionary like Offset is another step towards the future - we not only dominate in competitive gaming we are setting new trends across content, merchandise, brand partnerships, and beyond."

The partnership is a perfect match, because FaZe Offset has proven himself to be a legit gamer and regularly talks about playing one of his favorites, "Call of Duty."

In fact he's played so much that even Cardi B complains about his gaming time.

The only problem is Offset is not a huge fan of Fortnite, which is one of FaZe Clan's specialties.

Something tells us the monetary incentive will help change his mind.
