Offset confirms that upcoming tour will feature a Takeoff tribute

This Sunday (March 10), Offset will kick off the first date of his "Set It Off Tour" in Philadelphia. On Thursday (March 7), USA Today published an interview with the Georgia star, where he confirmed a tribute to Takeoff during each performance.

“Of course,” he said when asked about the possibility. “I do that every show. He has to get his moment [and] his respect as the greatest talent that he was. It’s an emotional roller coaster for me, but I love to do it with the fans. We’re all coming together to remember him.”

The tour is in support of Offset's sophomore LP, SET IT OFF, which made landfall in October 2023. The project consisted of 21 songs and additional contributions from Travis Scott, Don Toliver, Future, Cardi B, Latto, Young Nudy and more. SET IT OFF debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 with 70,000 album-equivalent units sold.

In that same feature, Offset was also asked if the pain from losing his longtime collaborator will ever subside. “Never. I just keep pushing and keeping a positive thought process because that’s what he would want me to do," he expressed. "I pray and keep family close. I hear him talking to me here and there and giving me signs to keep pushing. He’s literally on my dresser (in a photo) everywhere I go.”
