Offset Accused Of Owing $210,000 in Back Taxes

Migos’ Offset is accused of refusing to pay up on a massive tax bill.

According to documents obtained by The Blast, the Georgia Department of Revenue claims Offset (real name: Kiari Cephus) owes $210,228.91 in back taxes.

A state tax lien was filed against Offset over the 2017 debt. The original amount owed on the bill was $146,845.83. The amount grew with interest ($15,645.42), penalties ($18,318.49) and collection costs ($29,369.17).

The address listed on the lien goes back to one of the properties he bought with his wife, Cardi B.

The lien warns Offset if the debt isn’t paid quickly, they will begin seizing his assets.

The Department is on a roll handing out tax liens. Offset is joining a list of other celebrities facing tax issues .

Music producer Jermaine Dupri was recently slapped with liens over $20,000 in back taxes.

Young Thug was hit with two separate liens for failing to pay $175,000 in taxes.

The lien accuses Thug of owing on his 2014 tax bill. The original amount owed was only $16,451.27.

The amount has swelled over the years with interest ($6,225.31), penalties ($4,178.03) and collection costs ($3,290.25). Thug is now on the hook to the Department for $30,19486.

The lien warns Thug to pay up quickly or they will begin seizing his property & assets.

Back in July, The Georgia Department of Revenue filed a separate lien against Thug. The lien accused him of owing a total of $145,794.03 for 2015. The original balance owed was only $85,254 but grew with interest ($21,125.88), penalties ($22,313.35) and other costs to the current debt.

“RHOA” star Porsha Williams also recently settled a debt with The Georgia Department of Revenue.
