A long-awaited return to America's favorite paper company could be on the horizon.

In an exclusive clip from Wednesday’s episode of SiriusXM’s Office Ladies podcast, Bryan Cranston poses an age-old question to hosts Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey: Is the cast of The Office be interested in a reunion?

“So let’s say that there’s not a reboot series, but let’s say that there’s a movie — something where we can see where these people are – these people in the entire cast that we’re curious about,” suggests Cranston, 67.

After a comparison to the Downton Abbey movie, Kinsey, 52, is quick to say she’d be all in for a revival film. “I would do it. I would do it for my kids, ‘cause I think they would think that’s fun.”

Fischer, 49, is more concerned about whether the project would involve Greg Daniels, who developed the long-running sitcom for American TV from Ricky Gervais’ British version. He’s the only one she’d “trust” to handle it, she says.

Kinsey affirms that “Greg is signed on in this hypothetical,” which prompts another “yes” from her former castmate.

“OK, as long as Greg is writing it and he’s in charge of it, then I say yes,” Fischer agrees.

Satisfied with his work, Cranston then jokes, “Enough said. Let’s get Greg on the phone,” before admitting that he’s keen to be involved in the hypothetical project, too.

“I just wanna be an extra in it,” the Breaking Bad star, who directed a 2012 episode of the Steve Carell-led sitcom. And Kinsey agrees: “You have to be in it.”

Of course, that begs the question of who Cranston could play in the movie. “I’d be like a crossing guard or something like that,” quips the Emmy winner.

Kinsey instead suggests a role more in line with her former on-screen love interest Dwight Schrute (Rainn Wilson). “Maybe you’re one of Dwight’s hired hands on Schrute farms,” she proposes.

He doesn't miss a beat: “Now why would I be the hired hand and not the foreman?"

In the decade since the fan-favorite show concluded — the cast celebrated a decade since they said goodbye to Dunder Mifflin in May 2023 — the stars have dabbled in discussing a potential reboot, and even the creator himself has previously weighed in.

In 2021, after The Office moved from Netflix to Peacock, Daniels told E! News that a reboot is "probably more likely" than not, though he had "no plans" at that time.

"People are more open to it now, it seems," he said. "The issue is, what is left to be said about the characters?"

One of the ideas he toyed with included going back to "find some lost episodes and film them as if they were back in 2010 or something," as well as possibly following in the footsteps of Max's Friends reunion.

At the time, NBCU content chief Susan Rover told Deadline that a reboot could happen "whenever Greg Daniels wants to do one."

Kinsey and Fischer's former castmate John Krasinski, 44, has also been open about his interest in revisiting his paper salesman character Jim Halpert.

"In many ways, they will always be the most important people in that most important experience in my career. So yeah, if they did a reunion, I would absolutely love to do it," he told Esquire in 2020.

Krasinksi continued, "The Office was absolutely everything to me. I mean it is my beginning and my end."
