‘The Office’ cast reunites to surprise couple during Zoom wedding

Wedding bells were ringing on the latest episode of Some Good News with John Krasinski. An engaged couple, John and Susan, made an appearance on the show after John Krasinki learned of their familiar proposal story. It turns out the couple are big fans of The Office, so when John proposed to Susan he reenacted how Jim Halpert (Krazinski) proposed to Pam Beesly (Jenna Fischer) outside a gas station. Susan recalled, “He got down on one knee and just Jim he was like, ‘I can’t wait any longer.’” John K. was so excited about the engagement that he went online and became an ordained minister so that he could officiate their wedding. In fact, he surprised the couple by gathering their family and close friends on a Zoom video meeting to perform the ceremony immediately. Music for the wedding was provided by country music star Zac Brown. Jenna Fischer also made an appearance and even offered a toast straight from Pam’s script. “One day your kids are gonna assume their parents are soulmates, and in your case they're right,” she said. After the officiating the ceremony, John K. had one more surprise up his sleeve. Almost the entire cast from the series joined in the video wedding celebration as they danced to Chris Brown’s song “Forever.”

- He got down on one knee, and he was like, you know, just like Jim, I can't wait any longer. Yeah.

JOHN KRAZINSKI: Come on, now. That's the stuff, John. That's that sweet, sweet stuff.

KYLIE MAR: Wedding bells were ringing on the latest episode of "Some Good [? News ?] with John Krasinski" as couple John and Susan, who reenacted Jim and Pam's proposal from "The Office," got the shock of a lifetime when John became an ordained minister and gathered their families together for a surprise Zoom wedding.

JOHN KRAZINSKI: Boom! We are officially one big happy family! And a stranger.

KYLIE MAR: Since the proposal was inspired by Jim and Pam's love, it only made sense that actress Jenna Fischer would attend to witness the "I do's."

- I did.

- Of course, I do. [LAUGHS]

JOHN KRAZINSKI: By the power vested in me by this piece of paper and, seemingly, the state of Maryland, I now pronounce you husband and wife.

KYLIE MAR: The wedding was so reminiscent of "The Office" that Jenna had some familiar words for the couple afterwards.

JENNA FISCHER: One day, your kids are going to assume that their parents are soulmates. And in your case, they will be right. [INAUDIBLE].

[LAUGHTER]

Congratulations, you guys.

KYLIE MAR: And after cutting his tie just like Jim, John took a page out of the show's wedding and invited the whole team from "The Office" to join in the celebration.

[MUSIC PLAYING]
