NUTCRACKER! Magical Christmas Ballet to hold open audition for Midland children
Oct. 23—The NUTCRACKER! Magical Christmas Ballet is coming to Midland November 1 to host auditions for local children to participate in the performance December 27 at the Wagner Noël Performing Arts Center. Auditions will be held in partnership with Dance Expressions by Debra.
Young dancers ages 6 to 17 are invited to audition through NUTCRACKER! Magical Christmas Ballet's unique "Dance with Us" program. The visionary team at Talmi Entertainment brings together 75 world-renowned ballet artists from 16 ballet capitals, transcending geographical boundaries to create a spectacle of unity this holiday season, traveling to 86 cities in North America.
Auditions are hosted by the audition director, Maria Molotsiyan, company soloist, who will also direct the first rehearsals. In partnership with Dance Expressions by Debra, local children ages 6-17 participate for the opportunity to be a part of the production. Following the audition, Molotsiyan will be conducting an initial rehearsal with the selected dancers.
Auditions are scheduled at 6 p.m. November 1 at Dance Expressions by Debra, 2525 N. Grandview Ste 925, in Odessa.
