‘The Nun II’ Is Now Streaming: Here’s Where to Watch the Horror Film Online

Following the massive success of The Nun in 2018, The Nun II was also a box office success taking in $263.5 million worldwide when it was released in theaters in September. Now, it’s ready to stream at home — just in time for Halloween.

The horror movie sequel is available in 4K Ultra HD as a rental for $19.99 or a digital purchase for $24.99 on Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV.
The Nun II
Set in France in 1956, The Nun II finds Sister Irene (Taissa Farmiga) investigating the violent murder of a priest. She discovers the powerful, yet mysterious, evil from her past is back to terrorize her.
Directed by Michael Chaves and produced by Peter Safran and James Wan, the movie also stars Jonas Bloquet, Storm Reid, Anna Popplewell, Bonnie Aarons and others. Although the sequel made less money at the box office than its predecessor, the sequel received strong feedback.
In fact, The Hollywood Reporter film critic Frank Scheck gave The Nun II a fairly positive review: “the filmmaker does a fine job creating a suitably ominous atmosphere (the old-world European locations and Tristan Nyby’s gloomy cinematography really help) and orchestrates the violent mayhem, much of it involving terrified little girls, with disturbing relish.”

Although you can rent or buy The Nun II on Prime Video, the horror movie is set to begin streaming on Max on Friday. The Nun II will also join seven of the other movies in the Conjuring Universe already on the premium streaming service (The Conjuring 2 is not available to stream on Max).

The Nun II is part of the larger Conjuring Universe, which is about the paranormal investigation of Ed and Lorraine Warren, played by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga, respectively.
