Numero Group Launch New Ambient Sound App

Archival record label Numero Group have launched a new “boutique” lifestyle app. Environments creates ambient sound with nature recordings on long-form loops. It features 22 fully remastered analog recordings by field recordist Irv Teibel, who is best known for his influential Environments album series spanning from 1969 to 1979. Available on iPhone and iPad, the app includes sounds like ocean waves, thunderstorms, birdsongs, creaky sailboat, and more. Environments was co-created with Teibel’s label Syntonic Research Inc., the same label that released the original album series. Watch the trailer video below.
