Reserve now: These Nashville restaurants are open on Thanksgiving

A gorgeous turkey in the oven, gravy on the stove and the warm feeling of family all around. It's what Thanksgiving is all about.

But if you're traveling for work, live far away from family or just hate cooking, where can you turn? There's a slew of Nashville restaurants offering dinner service on Thanksgiving Day. Here's a roundup of those, mostly close to the downtown area.

1 Kitchen: Three-course menu

Located within 1 Hotel at 710 Demonbreun St., 1 Kitchen is offering a three-course menu designed by its culinary director Chris Crary.

The meal will begin with a fall harvest board followed by a cider glazed turkey with roasted squash cornbread stuffing and buttermilk whipped potatoes on the side. For dessert: spiced pumpkin cheesecake.

Available 12 to 7 p.m. in the restaurant or to-go. For each table reserved, the restaurant is donating a meal to those in need through a partnership with Copia.

Stationairy: Regular menu available

In addition to Stationairy's regular menu, the restaurant is offering Thanksgiving specials for brunch and dinner. Menu items include a smoked turkey benedict at brunch and, for dinner, turkey porchetta.

The restaurant inside the Union Station Hotel is open 7 a.m.-2 p.m. for brunch and 5-10 p.m. for dinner.

Church and Union: Three-course menu

Church and Union offers a three-course, prix fixe menu priced at $70 for adults and $30 for children age 12 and under.

The meal will include regular menu items like the Southern salad and 60 South Salmon. Special holiday dishes will include turkey, stuffing, green beans and mashed potatoes.

Reservations are available from 11 a.m.-9 p.m.

Ophelia's Pizza + Bar: Regular menu plus specials

The Italian-inspired restaurant Ophelia's in Nashville's downtown is offering their regular menu, plus Thanksgiving specials.

The specials will include a first course, entree and dessert themed in accordance with the holiday. It will be open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

STK: Dine-in and take-out available

This popular Nashville steakhouse is offering Thanksgiving-themed specials from Nov. 23-26.

The menu will include a roasted free-range turkey with sides and trimmings. It's available for take-out pre-order beginning Nov. 13. Meal service is available from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day.

The Rutledge: Traditional turkey plate

Located on First Avenue South in downtown Nashville, the Rutledge is offering a traditional turkey plate for $36. It will include turkey breast, Yukon gold mashed potatoes, sourdough herb stuffing, green beans and sweet potato casserole.

Pumpkin cheesecake and bourbon pecan pie are also available for individual purchase. The restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Stateside Kitchen: Three-course menu

Stateside Kitchen, located inside the Dream Hotel, is offering a three-course menu for Thanksgiving dinner. Start with either the pumpkin soup, fall salad or baked brie. Main course options will be a traditional turkey plate, holiday puff pastry or prime ribeye roast.

Dessert options include pecan pie, chocolate brownie with butterscotch ice cream or pumpkin layered cake. The meal is priced at $75 for adults and $35 for kids. The restaurant will be open 12 to 8 p.m.

Mimo Restaurant and Bar: Brunch and dinner available

Mimo Restaurant and Bar inside the Four Seasons Hotel downtown will offer brunch service on Thanksgiving Day from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., featuring the restaurant's standard brunch menu.

An Italian-inspired Thanksgiving dinner will be served from 2:30-7:30 p.m., including Mimo's regular menu and traditional Thanksgiving dishes.

Sperry's Restaurant: Open for dinner

The Belle Meade and Cool Springs locations of Sperry's Restaurant are open for dinner Thanksgiving Day.

The dinner special is $38 and includes the Sperry's salad bar and bread board and a roasted turkey plate with all the sides. Add-ons include butternut squash bisque and pumpkin cake.

Stompin' Grounds: Buffet style meal

Stompin' Grounds, located inside the JW Marriott hotel, is offering a Thanksgiving Day meal served buffet style from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Meals for adults are $85 and half-off for children age 12 and under. Reservations are recommended.

Sadie's: Mediterranean buffet

Sadie's in Edgehill Village is offering a Mediterranean-inspired Thanksgiving Day buffet from noon to 8 p.m. Guests can expect a cold station with bread, olives, whipped feta, salad and hummus. Entrees include roasted turkey, salmon, prime rib, butternut squash soup and an assortment of vegetable sides.

Adult meals are priced at $45 are $20 for children.

Puckett's: All you can eat

The downtown Nashville location of Puckett's is offering an all-you-can-eat Thanksgiving meal for $39.99 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Kids ages 7 to 12 are $19.99 and age 6 and under are free.

Menu options for the main course include oven-roasted turkey, meatloaf with gravy, and pulled pork with sides, including mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, cornbread stuffing, green bean casserole and sweet potato casserole.

Monell's: First come, first served

No reservation is needed at Monell's Thanksgiving Day feast from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The menu includes turkey, ham, cornbread stuffing, mashed potatoes and caramel pumpkin pie.

Meals start at $28 for adults, $16 for children age 4 to 12 and free for children age 3 and younger.

Oak Steakhouse: Three-course menu

Oak Steakhouse is offering a limited a la carte menu and a three-course menu from 12 to 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day.

To start, guests have a choice between a harvest salad or butternut squash soup. The main course is herb roasted turkey, sage and sausage cornbread stuffing, mashed sweet potato with marshmallow and tallow candied pecans, turkey gravy and cranberry compote.

Dessert is either pecan pie, pumpkin pie or bread pudding with bourbon tallow caramel. Meals are $76 per person and reservations are required.

Carne Mare: Three-course menu

Italian chophouse Carne Mare is offering a three-course menu for dining in from 1-8 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day.

Options for antipasti include seafood and salad. For the second course, choices include several fine cuts of steak, pasta dishes, turkey and fish, with several side dish options. On the dessert menu: 17-layer chocolate cake, sweet cream panna cotta and more.

The meal will cost you $125 for adults and $45 for children under 10 years old.

Ella's on 2nd: Thanksgiving buffet

The West Coast Italian-inspired fare at Ella's on 2nd is available buffet-style on Thanksgiving Day. Featured menu items will include choices of turkey, New York ham and strip steak at the carving station, shrimp, crab claws and oysters at the seafood station. Salads and vegetable sides will also be available.

The buffet costs $75 for adults and $40 for children ages 5-12 and is open 4-10 p.m.

Adele's: Thanksgiving buffet

Adele's is offering a buffet spread for Thanksgiving Day. Menu offerings include roasted turkey breast, confit turkey dark meat, southern stuffing and green bean casserole with mushroom and tobacco onions.

The meal is $58 for adults and $25 for children ages 5-12. The buffet will run 12-8 p.m.

The 404 Kitchen: Thanksgiving buffet

The 404 Kitchen, helmed by chef Matt Bolus, will offer its annual Thanksgiving Buffet. The restaurant is described as featuring Southern heritage cooking with a modern European sensibility.

The buffet menu will include carved turkey breast, confit dark meat with gravy and cranberry sauce, brown sugar glaze ham, candy sweet potatoes and house made biscuits. It is priced at $58 for adults and $38 for children ages 5 to 12. The buffet will be served 12 to 8 p.m.

Luogo: four-course meal

Italian restaurant Luogo in The Gulch is open on Thanksgiving and offering a four-course menu including roasted turkey with sausage stuffing, brown sugar mashed sweet potatoes, green beans, roasted carrots, gravy and cran-apple sauce.

Commons Club in the Virgin Hotel: Thanksgiving feast

The Commons Club, located inside the Virgin Hotel on Music Row, is offering a Thanksgiving meal priced at $65 per person. The menu will feature traditional holiday favorites like oven-roasted turkey, mashed potatoes, green beans and more.

The meal is available starting at 12 p.m. and the last tables will be seated at 7 p.m.

Harper's Steakhouse: three-course dinner

Harper's Steakhouse, a new restaurant at Peabody Plaza near Nashville's downtown, is offering a three-course Thanksgiving dinner. Available between 12 and 8 p.m., the meal begins with a choice between French onion soup and southwest chopped salad.

The main course features herb roasted turkey breast, smoked turkey leg stuffing, garlic whipped potatoes, garlic sautéed green beans with wild mushrooms, mushroom gravy and dinner rolls. For dessert, a maple bourbon pecan tart. That three-course option is priced at $70.

Another dine-in option for parties of four or more is Harper's Thanksgiving feast, which is served family-style with a pumpkin crème brûlée and a bottle of Beaujolais wine. That option is $85 per person. A condensed version of Harper's traditional dinner menu will also be available.

TENN at Holston House: Thanksgiving experience menu

TENN, a restaurant inside Holston House, is offering a Thanksgiving menu of classics. Priced at $75 for adults and $45 for children 12 and under, the menu includes two courses and a pie flight for dessert.

It will be open 12-6 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day.
