Notre Dame’s Dane Goodwin is the only player putting up certain numbers
Off to a 3-3 start, Notre Dame is wondering where its season is headed. There was a lot of hype surrounding its ability to end its NCAA Tournament drought. If that’s going to happen, the upcoming months will have to look a little better than November did as a whole. However, one bright spot on the team already is looking brighter than he ever has: Dane Goodwin.
Goodwin has had such a unique season to this point that the program’s communications tweet simply had to tweet out the following:

Goodwin’s scoring average and field-goal percentage both rank in the top 15 among ACC leaders, but he’s tied for second in free-throw percentage and third in 3-point percentage. He will be a player to watch for every team in the conference, including top-ranked Duke. While there’s always a possibility he’ll regress to the mean, it probably won’t be so bad enough that he’ll just fall off a cliff.
