Notre Dame Children’s Choir presents Community Festival Concert on Saturday

SOUTH BEND — The University of Notre Dame Children’s Choir presents its annual NDCC Community Festival Concert at 3 p.m. May 4 at First United Methodist Church, 333 N. Main St.

The concert program features six choirs with children from ages 6-18, as well as additional children from the community and NDCC alumni.

Led by Artistic Director Mark Doerries, the NDCC is an ecumenical choral program for children from toddlers through high school. It educates more than 150 choristers weekly; commissions and records new liturgical, classical, jazz and spiritual music; and tours nationally.

The choir is currently accepting new singers for the 2024-25 season.

Admission is free, and tickets are not required.
