Nothing Uncovered Episode 13 Recap & Spoilers: What Happens in Mueon?

Episode 13 of Nothing Uncovered aired on KBS2 on Monday, April 29, 2024. In the episode, the audience sees Seol Woo Jae (Jang Seung Jo) remembering the terrible incident involving Lee Na Ri on the day of the factory fire. The episode also sees Seol Woo Jae and Seo Jung Won (Kim Ha Neul) arriving in Mueon. Detective Kim Tae Heon (Yeon Woo Jin) also visits Mueon on the same day for the investigation.

Nothing Uncovered episode 13 further shows a heartbreaking incident. Someone murders Lee Na Ri’s brother, Lee Ba Reun (Seo Bum June), in Mueon. In the latest episode, viewers also see Jung Won informing Detective Kim Tae Heon about the similarities between Cha Eun Sae and her father’s death.

Nothing Uncovered Episode 13: Lee Ba Reun is murdered in Mueon

Episode 13 of Nothing Uncovered begins with a flashback scene. After Lee Na Ri escapes the factory fire, Seol Woo Jae (Jang Seung Jo) accidentally hits her with his car. He then calls the emergency unit for help and decides to take Na Ri to the hospital. However, on the way to the hospital, his father calls him and tells him to check whether Lee Na Ri is alive or not. When they find out that she has passed away, Woo Jae’s father, Seol Pan Ho, instructs him not to take her body to the hospital. Then, Seol Pan Ho takes care of the matter.

Then, the episode returns to the present. Both Seol Woo Jae and Lee Na Ri’s brother, Lee Ba Reun (Seo Bum June), have arrived in Mueon. Lee Ba Reun follows Seol Woo Jae. He finds him crying at a particular place in the forest area at Mount Mueon. Lee Ba Reun realizes it is where the killer has buried his sister. Thus, after Woo Jae leaves, Lee Ba Reun digs up the place and finds the skeleton of Lee Na Ri. Right at that moment, a man attacks Lee Ba Reun from behind and strangles him to death.

Nothing Uncovered episode 13 sees Seo Jung Won (Kim Ha Neul) and Kim Tae Heon (Yeon Woo Jin) arriving in Mueon. Kim Tae Heon finds out about Lee Ba Reun’s terrible death, and he informs Jung Won about it. She completely breaks down after learning about it.

Then, Jung Won rushes to meet her husband at the hotel. She immediately confronts Woo Jae about Cha Sae Eun and her father’s murder. Seol Woo Jae denies committing any murder and also has alibis to prove it. Then, they visit the crime scene in the woods at Mount Mueon, along with Tae Heon. On their way back, Jung Won feels nauseous and goes to the washroom. Meanwhile, the detective informs Woo Jae that he has the CCTV footage that has captured a man in black clothes. He then threatens Woo Jae that he will find out the truth and make sure that he gets punished for his crimes.

At the end of episode 13 of Nothing Uncovered, Seo Jung Won informs Tae Heon that she believes the person who murdered Cha Sae Eun and the person who murdered her father are the same. She then goes on to show him the video footage of a man at the crime scene of Cha Sae Eun’s murder.

Furthermore, she points at the knife, which the murderer used to kill Cha Sae Eun. It is the same knife she saw in the hands of the murderer of her father. Tae Heon recognizes the knife. Earlier, he has seen it with Kong Joon Ho (Jung Ho Bin). At that moment, Kong Joon Ho arrives at the spot, and the episode ends here.
