‘Not Safe with Nikki Glaser’ Canceled By Comedy Central After One Season

Comedy Central has opted not to pick up a second season of sex-themed talk show Not Safe with Nikki Glaser while exploring other opportunities to continue to work with Glaser. The comedian alluded to the news backstage at Chelsea Handler’s Netflix talker Chelsea, where she was guest on the latest episode, released today.

In Not Safe, host Glaser and her guests shared personal stories about sex, relationships and other taboo topics. The show originally was picked up for 10 episodes and premiered in February. Its freshman run later was extended to 20 episodes with a second 10-episode order. The second batch of episodes aired over the summer.

Not Safe was executive produced by Chris Convy, Glaser, showrunner Chris McGuire, Alex Murray and Brad Petrigala,

Glaser also has a stand-up special for Comedy Central, where she has been a fixture as a rotating panelist on @midnight with Chris Hardwick and appearances on Inside Amy Schumer, Adam Devine’s House Party, The Burn with Jeff Ross, The Half Hour and Comedy Underground with Dave Attell.
