Cheryl and her ex-husband, Dave, say their daughter, Cassie, was a good student who was popular and participated in many school activities and sports while in high school. They also say that she then started hanging out with the wrong crowd and began using drugs. Now, 10 years later, they claim Cassie is still using drugs and drinks up to two liters of vodka a day.

Cheryl does admit that she has enabled her daughter by providing her with a place to live, buying her food, and making sure she has a cell phone – she claims, so she can check in on her daughter. Dave admits that he used drugs with Cassie twice while she lived with him, but insists that by taking her in, he kept her alive.
After speaking with Dr. Phil, Cassie agrees to enter a treatment facility. Dr. Phil warns the parents that they need to stand strong against their daughter, or she will end up right back where she is today. Hear his stern message in the video above.
