North West Reveals Rapper-Athlete Career Aspirations: “I’m Going To Do Art On The Side”

North West has big dreams. The eldest daughter of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian discussed her plans as the cover star of I-D Magazine‘s New Wave issue.

In the interview, where the 10-year-old describes herself as “The Best Ever,” she opens up about some of her favorite hobbies and skills.

“A basketball player, a rapper,” explained West when asked what she wants to be when she reaches adulthood. “Well, when I was seven, I wanted to be a boxer. But now I don’t want to be a boxer. I’m going to do art on the side. When I’m, like, 13, I want to walk dogs, to make money to buy art supplies, because everything around here is so expensive. So a rapper, a basketball player, and I’m going to make artwork that I sell. Also, one day I want to own Yeezy and SKIMS, and I want to be a business owner.”

Elsewhere in the short and sweet Q&A, North West delivered her honest, adorable answers to the platform’s age-appropriate questions.

She named “Through the Wire” by her father as her favorite song at the moment, explaining that one of her favorite activities is singing performing and performing. Claiming she is responsible for most of her talents, she does admit that her stage presence features “a little bit of my dad.”

North West also names Japan as where she would live if not Los Angeles, describes vintage t-shirts and Spider sweats as her favorite clothing options, and her disdain for paparazzi.
