With Valentine's Day on the horizon, it's time to start finalizing plans to treat that special someone in your life to a romantic date. But if you're looking for a classic, nice restaurant dinner, you might already be out of luck.

If you're looking for a date that doesn't require reservations, here are a few ideas to try around Oklahoma City:

While most museums in the city will be closed on the evening of Valentine's Day, there are plenty of museums in the area to check during the day or on the weekend:

Or, if you're feeling like solving crime together, the Museum of Osteology in south Oklahoma City is hosting three options for a Valentine's Forensic Night where you can help get to the bottom of real crime cases.

Take a couples class together: Woodworking, glassblowing, painting, cooking

Oklahoma City is home to more than 170 parks and green spaces, and with the weather warming up an evening stroll could be the perfect way to spend the holiday of love.

Myriad Gardens and Scissortail Park are both downtown options, and for more nature exploration check out the Martin Park Nature Center or Will Rogers Gardens.
