No longer in a ‘galaxy far, far away’: ‘Star Wars’ Blue Milk arrives in Harrisburg

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — A special treat for Midstate Star Wars fans is now a lot closer than “a galaxy far, far away.”

Star Wars TruMoo Blue Milk has hit the shelves of local grocery stores. The vanilla-flavored low-fat milk features both a blue color and special themed packaging.

Blue Milk a collaboration between the dairy brand TruMoo and Lucasfilm inspired by the film”Star Wars: A New Hope” and the “Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge” area of Disney’s theme-parks.

“TruMoo is all about fun and flavor, so we’re always looking for new and innovative ways to bring the joys of flavored milk from our family farms to families across the country,” said Rachel Kyllo, senior vice president of innovation and marketing for Dairy Farmers of America (DFA) Dairy Brands. “With the mass cross-generational appeal that the Star Wars franchise offers, we’re excited to see fans of all ages indulging in this delicious beverage that’s also a good source of protein for strong muscles.”

TruMoo’s Blue Milk comes in a half-gallon jug. For chocolate lovers, the brand is also offering gallon jugs of Star Wars-themed chocolate milk.

Another dairy brand, Swiss Premium, has also launched special Star Wars-themed gallons of white milk.

Fans can find the limited-edition products in the dairy section at local grocers including Giant, Walmart and Karns. The milk will be available for purchase while supplies last through July 2024.
