No Doubt reunited for the first time in almost a decade at Coachella on Saturday night. The ska legends performed a 16-song set that included a surprise appearance from Olivia Rodrigo and a cover of Madness’ “One Step Beyond.”
Rodrgio, who recently declared No Doubt’s Gwen Stefani “the prime example” of a “true artist,” joined the band for “Bathwater.”
Elsewhere in the set, No Doubt performed hits like “Hella Good,” “Don’t Speak,” “Spiderwebs,” and “Just a Girl,” plus their covers of Madness’ “One Step Beyond” and Talk Talk’s “It’s My Life.” Stefani also dedicated a performance of “Simple Kind Of Life” to her ex-husband, Gavin Rossdale.

No Doubt first announced their reunion this past January, with their Coachella booking being revealed later that same day. Their booking makes sense, considering Coachella’s affinity for reunions (the festival also booked a reunited Sublime this year, and attempted to negotiate a reunion of Talking Heads).
Beyond Coachella, though, it’s unlikely No Doubt will do much more touring. In January, it was reported that fans shouldn’t “expect a major No Doubt tour,” as it would conflict with Gwen Stefani’s plans to promote her solo work through the rest of 2024.
