Ready for Wimbledon? The tournament is heating up the semi-finals taking place Friday (July 14). As the number of competitors continue to dwindle, there are still plenty of matches to catch before the champions are crowned.

Tennis star and five-time Wimbledon champion, Venus Williams, lost the first round last week while another big name in the sport, Novak Djokovic, returns to the court for the semi-finals on Friday (July 14). Djokovic, 36, is slated to face off against Italian hotshot Jannik Sinner, 21. The other men’s singles match scheduled for Friday is Carlos Alcaraz Garfia, 20, against Daniil Medvedev, 27.


The women’s singles final will take place Saturday (July 15) and will see Markéta Vondroušová, 24, take on Ons Jabeur, 28, for the winning title.

Wimbledon’s grand slam takes place from July 3-16. Like last year, fourth round singles matches are spread across two days, while the Gentlemen’s and Ladies’ singles matches will be mixed through the quarterfinals.
