"Saturday Night Live" cast member and New Jersey native Chloe Troast has gone viral for her response to a video that claims that SNL has never hired a "hot" woman.

In the original video posted by @Jahelis, the TikTok user starts off by saying, "Am I the only person who's ever noticed that SNL has never hired a like 'hot' woman? And I want to be clear, I am not saying that every single woman who has been a cast member on SNL is ugly, I am just saying that none of them have ever been like, hot. They all just kind of have looks that eventually grow on you."

Throughout the video she names a few examples, one being Heidi Gardner. She claimed Gardner consistently plays the "super hot and super dumb" role in sketches but that she is "not that pretty."

She theorized, "I also feel like with humor for women you have to be more funny than you are hot and if you're more hot than you are funny then it boils down to you just not being funny at all."

She then goes on to compare the women on SNL to male comedians such as Jimmy Fallon, Jason Sudeikis and Andy Samberg who she describes as "relatively hot men" in comparison to the "pretty average looking women" casted on SNL.

This video, which was posted on March 21, has since garnered over 532,900 views, 10,000 likes, and 4,800 comments.

Many of the comments are disagreeing with the poster's point of view saying, "This is so random and mean," and "Idk why anyone would think it's OK to post something like this."

Numerous comments highlight women from the show such as Cecily Strong, Ego Nwodim, Chloe Fineman, Kate McKinnon and more, calling them "drop dead gorgeous" and "beautiful."

Fineman even commented on the post saying, "We are hot tho..."

Other SNL cast members have since posted responses to the video such as Troast: comedian, Ho-Ho-Kus native and one of the newest SNL cast members.

Troast posted her response to TikTok, stitching the original post with a video of her singing "Beautiful" by Christina Aguilera. Her video, posted on Tuesday, has garnered over 1.1 million views, 156,200 likes and 698 comments. She also posted the video to her Instagram Reels where it has gathered over 3,000 more likes and 120 comments.

SNL cast member Sarah Sherman used her humor to respond on X, formerly Twitter, saying, "Just found out I'm not hot. Please give me and my family space to grieve privately and uglily at this time."
