Nip/Tuck reboot: Ryan Murphy would consider it, he revealed at EW Fest
Could Nip/Tuck join Full House, The X-Files, Twin Peaks, and more gone-but-not-forgotten cult hits to find new life years after its cancellation?
It’s something that Ryan Murphy would consider, the American Horror Story and Scream Queens creator revealed Saturday at the inaugural EW Fest during a panel aptly titled Ryan Murphy & Friends. (Keke Palmer, Lea Michele, Emma Roberts, Matt Bomer, and Kathy Bates were also in attendance.)

The idea of a potential Nip/Tuck revival or reboot is something that has been floated to him before, but Murphy wouldn’t be interested in writing it so much as “grandfathering” the show back to existence. “I would get cool writers to do it,” he said, “and I think I would redo that show now with two women.”
Nip/Tuck ended in 2010 after 100 episodes and six seasons. A revival would be a good opportunity for Murphy to revisit what he misses most about the FX series — the cases. “I loved the weird cases-of-the-week that were 99.9 percent of the time based on a real stuff.
