After first launching in March 2022, the sixth and final wave for “Mario Kart 8 Deluxe — Booster Course Pass” drops on Thursday, Nov. 9.

It’s available for $25 at Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy and Target and it features eight remastered courses from past Mario Kart games, including “Super Mario Kart,” “Mario Kart Wii,” “Mario Kart Tour” and others.
Note: In order to take advantage of the Booster Pass, you’ll need to own “Mario Kart 8 Deluxe” for Nintendo Switch. Don’t have one? A physical copy of the video game is on sale right now for $44 (was $60) at Walmart and Target. Purchase the game and then download its “Booster Course Pass.”
There are eight new courses in Wave 6 to go along with the 40 courses from Wave 1 to Wave 5. Altogether there are 96 courses — which can be played in 50cc, 100cc, 150cc and 200cc — over 24 cups to play in the complete “Mario Kart 8 Deluxe” with “Booster Course Pass.” Ahead, you’ll find a list of the new courses.

It also comes with four new playable characters from past installments. For Wave 6, Nintendo included Diddy Kong, Funky Kong, Peachette and Pauline to the roster. Now there are new eight characters to play in “Booster Course Pass” with Birdo, Petey Piranha, Wiggler and Kamek added from Wave 4 and Wave 5. Altogether, there are now 50 Nintendo characters to play as in “Mario Kart 8 Deluxe”
Wave 6 of the “Mario Kart 8 Deluxe — Booster Course Pass” drops on Nov. 9, but you can get the DLC (Downloadable Content) with the past five waves included now for $25. Once it’s released, Wave 6 will automatically download to the game for your Nintendo Switch.
