Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley, Kat Graham and other former 'Vampire Diaries' stars teased their upcoming reunion in a TikTok video

It’s a Mystic Falls reunion!

Nina Dobrev — who bounced between steamy vampire brothers Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley as Elena Gilbert on The Vampire Diaries — shared a video on TikTok Sunday that excited fans for the cast's upcoming reunion.

Dobrev’s video featured a host of her former costars as they pretended to pass the phone to each other and made suspicious faces, seemingly hinting at something bigger to come.

“🤫😉 #findmyiphone,” Dobrev, 34, captioned the video, which she kicked off with a wink and a finger over her mouth, as if she was keeping a secret.

Wesley’s video came next, followed by Kat Graham, who played Dobrev’s onscreen best friend and the town’s resident witch, Bonnie Bennett, and then Candice King — aka Caroline Forbes — raised her glass in a “cheers” to the screen as she appeared next.

Kayla Ewell, who starred as short-lived character Vicki Donovan, came up next, followed by The Originals star Claire Holt, who made a confused face at the camera before passing it off to Michael Trevino, who played hybrid werewolf-slash-vampire Tyler Lockwood. After Trevino’s cameo, the video returned to Dobrev, who had a perplexed look on her face after virtually collaborating with several of her former costars.

The video has been watched more than 1.5 million times since it was posted just three hours ago, and has garnered close to half a million likes.

In the comments, fans of the hit CW series, which ran from 2009 to 2017, shared their hopes that the video might indicate a reunion-to-come for the cast.

“This is iconic,” one person commented, while another asked, “WHAT DOES THIS MEAN NINA 😩😩😩.”

Several comments pointed out, too, that many familiar faces were missing from the video, including Damon Salvatore himself, Ian Somerhalder, as well as Phoebe Tonkin, who became a fan favorite particularly for her role in the spinoff series The Originals.

Dobrev’s TikTok comes just days before she is scheduled to make her long-awaited return to Mystic Falls for Epic’s I Was Feeling Festive convention, which is taking place from Dec. 1 to Dec. 3 in Covington, Georgia, where the series was filmed.

Wesley, King, Ewell and Trevino will also be in attendance at the event, along with a slew of other former Vampire Diaries stars, including Zach Roerig (Matt Donovan), Daniel Gillies (Elijah Mikaelson), Matt Davis (Alaric Saltzman) and Michael Malarkey (Enzo).

Somerhalder was originally slated to attend the convention — which would have made it the first time the full cast had been reunited since the show’s conclusion six years ago — but in August, the organizers announced he was no longer on the guest list.

The news that Dobrev would be making an appearance at the fan event was announced in May, much to the excitement of loyal TVD fans. The three-day event will mark her first-ever convention appearance since she concluded her role as Elena Gilbert in 2015.
