Nina Dobrev is on the mend from a bike accident. And she’s shared snippets on Instagram that suggest it was serious.

The Vampire Diaries alum first hinted at an issue on Monday, with an Instagram post that said “How it started vs how it’s going 🤕.”

In the first shot, Nina can be seen posing on what looks like an electric bike, looking relaxed and comfortable. In the next photo, she’s laying on a hospital bed in a neck brace with an IV in her arm and a large wrap around her knee.

Hop on over to the 35-year-old’s Instagram Stories, where she shared another shot of herself in the hospital bed with a pouty face.

That was followed by this message: “I’m ok but it’s going to be a long road of recovery ahead.” She also added: “I think it’s safe to say that my first time on a dirt bike will also be my last lol.”

Nina’s famous friends posted well-wishes and jokes in the comments. “Just keeping things on brand ❤️,” joked her boyfriend, Shaun White. “That’s my girl! 🫠
Obviously wouldn’t make jokes if you were not ok…,” said Julianne Hough, while Ashley Greene wrote, “Always going big... 😉 heal fast ❤️.”

Shaun later shared a photo of Nina lounging in what appears to be a private plane with her leg still in a brace and propped up on a pillow as she looks out the window.

Of course, Nina is a huge traveler—she regularly shares photos of herself all over the world with Shaun—and she’s also incredibly active. She previously told Women’s Health that she likes to do a “workout cocktail,” which is a mix of yoga, running, weight training, boxes, and group classes, on different days.

“I’m getting older and more conscious of what I eat and how I eat it and what I do,” she said. “Doing something different [each day] has been the most fun, and I’ve seen the most benefit because you shock your system.”

Nina also said that she feels strong and looks forward to working up a sweat. “I need to sweat every single day somehow, even if it’s just in the steam room,” she said. “Some days are better than others.”

She makes a point to eat healthy, and focuses on eating every two hours to keep her metabolism stable, too.

“I feel healthier,” she said. “You’re happier when your body is full, your brain functions better, and you’re a nicer person. I would get hangry, I think, because I was so busy running around that I wasn’t the best version of myself.”

Feel better, Nina!
