Super Bowl champs. Supermodels. Hollywood A-listers. The stars showed up to skewer iconic NFL quarterback Tom Brady on a Netflix roast, held Sunday night.

And keeping up with — or outpacing — them all? Comic Nikki Glaser. The 39-year-old standup earned online raves, often stealing the show from the likes of host Kevin Hart, Will Ferrell and former Patriots Julian Edelman and Drew Bledsoe.

Among Glaser's best barbs: mocking Brady, and by extension former teammate Rob Gronkowski, for money he lost on cryptocurrency; landing punches related to Brady's high-profile divorce from Gisele Bündchen; and giving Hart the business over subjects like his height and the relative quality of his movies.

"The roast really started when Glaser stepped to the podium, and she delivered the best top-to-bottom set of the night," The Ringer's Nora Princiotti wrote.

But did you know Glaser counts herself a passionate Missouri ambassador? A long-time resident of the St. Louis area, Glaser keeps showing off the Show Me State. Here are five things to know about Nikki Glaser.

1. Glaser is Midwest through and through

Born in Cincinnati, the comic's family moved to the St. Louis area in childhood, and she graduated from Kirkwood High School.

A University of Kansas alum, Glaser eventually returned to St. Louis, proving you can go home again, after living at either end of the country, she explained in a video filmed for Explore St. Louis.

"I've lived in New York and L.A. for the past 15 years, off and on, and I came back and I'm here to stay," she says in the clip, published two years ago.

In the video, she also shouts out the city's landmarks and the Central West End as one of the best neighborhoods she's ever lived in, on par with SoHo and Hollywood.

2. Glaser is our current roast queen

Comedy observers know Brady's roast was far from Glaser's first time at the dais. She's lobbed deliciously pointed and profane jokes at the likes of Rob Lowe, Bruce Willis and Alec Baldwin on Comedy Central broadcasts. A compilation of Glaser's roast highlights has around 12 million views on YouTube.

3. Glaser is officially 'Hysterical'

Glaser was one of many comics featured in the 2021 documentary "Hysterical," director Andrea Blaugrund Nevins' look at the lives and talents of female comedians. Also included: Judy Gold, Kathy Griffin, Iliza Shlesinger and Margaret Cho.

4. Glaser has been on nearly every major TV network

Glaser's reach on the small screen is practically boundless. Whether as a late-show guest of Jay Leno or Conan O'Brien, the center of her own comedy specials on Comedy Central, Netflix or HBO, or a contestant on the likes of "Dancing with the Stars," she's no doubt been on your TV.

Glaser has also hosted or played the central role in several shows, including Comedy Central's "Not Safe" and the E! reality show "Welcome Home, Nikki Glaser?" which chronicled her return to St. Louis.

5. Glaser's dad is in a St. Louis-area band

E.J. Glaser, Nikki's dad, gigs with Glaze and the Moonkings, a St. Louis magazine profile from last summer notes. The band's Facebook bio reads: "We're an acoustic band featuring guitar(s), vocals, upright bass, and violin. We perform in St. Louis and interested in playing private parties and events."
