Inspired by the Air Jordan 1 “Metallic Pack,” Nike’s Air Jordan 4 of the same name is releasing another summer-ready colorway that’ll certainly turn heads. The “Purple Metallic” iteration, perhaps the most striking of all four schemes, drop Wednesday at retailers nationwide.

The simplicity of the silhouette makes it truly adaptable to whatever outfit to ultimately pair them with. Featuring a crisp white leather body, the contrasting notes of purple and silver accents are found on the eyelets and branded areas to execute the theme. The iconic Jumpman emblem at the back, tongue and sole perfect the construction.

Additional highlights include a grid mesh to cover the shoe’s upper, while a reliable rubber outsole featuring herringbone tread keeps the style grounded. Regardless of where you direct your attention, designer Tinker Hatfield truly proves that the Air Jordan 4 still looks just as good as it did when His Airness first made it legendary during the 1989 NBA Playoffs with “The Shot” against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Retailing for $190, you can find the Air Jordan 4 “Purple Metallic” at Nike, Dick’s Sporting Good, Foot Locker and Eastbay.
